Licensing

A verification of professional licensing and certifications may include, but not be limited to the following: date of certification, type of license, license status and expiration date, license number and renewal date, restrictions, complaints on the file and derogatory action taken against the license. This information depends upon the information available from the licensing agency.

Education Verification

Education verification confirms the applicant’s graduation, graduation date, degree earned, major course of study if available and institution attended. For applicants who did not graduate, we provide the course of study if available, dates of attendance and confirmation of attendance.

Processing Information

In order to process the Licensing Verification profile accurately and to give you enough information to evaluate the applicant, the following information is needed:

• Applicant’s Full Name, Including Maiden and Any Other Names Used
• Social Security Number (For Identification Purposes Only)
• Type of Professional License
• License Number

In order to process the Education Verification profile, we need to know:

• Applicant’s Full Name, Including Maiden and Any Other Names Used
• Name of Institution and Location
• Dates of Attendance
• Degree Earned, When Applicable
• Social Security Number (For Identification Purposes Only)

When requesting the Licensing and Education Verification profiles, please review the application to ensure that the required information is included in a legible fashion. Additional information supplied by the applicant is often beneficial in compiling a comprehensive profile and should be submitted. ERS-NW profiles are subject to the quality and quantity of the data provided by the applicant.

Our Policies

• Unless indicated otherwise, we will verify the highest degree earned with the institution listed and name(s) provided by the applicant.

While we have standard policies and procedures, we also provide customized profiles. Please speak with your customer service or marketing representative to make the changes you need.
